Battle of the bands live recording at Hobart College in 1990.
We came last, no surprise there.
Ironic thing is that another metal band who played two Metallica covers won!
We originally had on the cards to do The Edge of Heaven by Candlemass with a female singer, who knows... WE might of won!

School version line-up:

Trivia, the part where you hear people cheering in the beginning of the second track is when I did a stick twirl / spin ala Reed St. Mark style from Celtic Frost. You can also make out someone saying Russell too.

When Luke starts singing you can hear people laugh! People are also saying his name at the beginning of the CF cover. He pauses for a while to remember what album it's from and someone from the audience (one of our friends) tells him. When he introduces our original he says written "some while back", it was like 2 weeks before this performance!
Great memories.

We were also listening to a lot of Candlemass at the time.
This is my favourite version of Valley of the Burning.

Baalphegor originally began as Golgotha in 1988.
Sin-nanna (Russell Menzies) joined as drummer and brief vocalist in 1989 when they changed their name to Krucifior.
Another name change came in 1994 as Baalphegor. Many line-up changes occurred during this bands existence. In 1996 the band changed styles and line-up as Azimuth, a black metal band. The band ended in 1997.
